Biography

The Fuss is led by Chris Boss, a "unique and gifted texas artist" that has shared the stage with many well known artists of several genres such as KISS (yes, KISS!) Steve Vai (guitar icon) and Slash (Guns N' Roses) to name a few. His original music was recently featured in the hit NBC prime time drama "Mercy." He has also performed The National Anthem for several major sporting events including a hair raising rendition on the electric guitar for over 18,000 NBA fans on 3/13/10 and an NBA playoff appearance on 4/22/08 at the AT&T center. No faking, playing along with pre recorded or "canned music" or lip syncing. Just high energy, real music for real people.

Based out of San Antonio, Chris and his band The Fuss, perform all over the country including The Wynn Casino and Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas Nevada as well as various nightclubs and theater halls in New Orleans L.A. , Atlanta GA, Orlando Fl, Chicago Il, Austin, Houston, Dallas TX, Oklahoma City Ok. Tulsa Ok. and more.

Chris is more that just a "guitar hero" as labeled by his peers for his three 1st place wins in the "Guitar Wars" and his many awards like his nomination for musician of the year (SA News). He has earned a reputation as an accomplished vocalist gushing with charisma and a passion for entertaining people with a spontaneous, upbeat, energetic live show. Add to that a band of seasoned, world class pros and you have the recipe for one of Texas' hottest band!

Chris got his start by entering local battle of the band, and guitar competions. Winning almost everything he entered gave Chris the underground buzz he needed to make an immediate impact when he exploded onto the club scene playing 250 dates a year at top nightclubs and private and corporate events. Soon he was the preferred opening act for touring artists all over Texas as well and as mentioned, a featured performer of the national anthem at major professional sporting events.

Chris Boss- "We really do love performing and I think it shows! It gives us a platform to showcase our skills and I think it's really obvious that we have a real passion for entertaining people." I think one thing that defined us when we first started was that we really try to involve the audience". Says Chris. When we perform it is a show, an event, and we love to interact with the audience! We make sure that every second on stage counts.

Armed with "an ability to effortlessly cross genre boundries," says Jim Beal (music columnist San Antonio Express News) when performing live, Chris frequently acknowledges and and playfully injects his vast and sometimes unlikely influences into his music with seemingly "effortless fluidity."

Drawing on hard rock/punk influences the release of their debut album "One Hot Night" emerges in 07 and showcases a taste of some 80's rock vibes, "Rise Up" and "Shake It Up Baby" a bit of some pop-ish feeling, ear candy (Runaway) and and even a sparkling down tempo tune ("Nancy's Song")

Chris and the boys feel they are ready to now show the world what The Fuss is all about.
